Josie von Jannike is a gorgeous 18 month old German Shepherd. Our classic beauty is turning heads all over town, but what she hopes is to get the attention of her forever family. She exits her kennel very excitedly and is so happy to go on an adventure. She walks great on leash for the most part, but might pull to get closer to another dog. She enjoys their company, although she does not necessarily want to play. Josie is mid-to-high energy and the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet, but she can be anxious when away from her doggy pals. She loves receiving affection from her humans and is so appreciative when we spoil her with hugs and treats. In playgroups, she gravitates towards the dogs who have a similar easy-going temperament and seems to be in her element. She warns pushy, playful dogs away and is happy to hang out and day-dream. Josie does not like being in water and hopes that there are no swimming lessons planned for her. With her beauty and heart of gold, Josie will likely get lots of attention. She hopes that she finds owners who are as kind as she is, and maybe a nice doggy pal who can show her the ropes in her new home. Would that be you?
